To close port 5000 (upnp or fics):

Windows 98/98 Second Edition - follow these steps:
- There is no built-in UPnP support for these operating systems.
- UPnP only is used if the Windows XP Internet Connection Sharing client
has been installed.

Windows ME - follow these steps:
- Click on Start → Settings → Control Panel →
Add/Remove Programs
- Select the Windows Set-Up tab
- Select the "Windows Set-up" Tab
- In the Components Field select Communications
- In the Components Field scroll down and uncheck the box to the left of
Universal Plug and Play
- Click "OK"
Windows XP - follow these steps:
- Click on Start → Control Panel → Administrative Tools
- Double click on the Services icon
- Scroll down until you see the SSDP Discovery Service and double
click on it
- Select the General tab.
- In the Startup Type: field change the option to Disabled and
click OK
